Robert J. "Bob" Hare

Born and raised in Bridgeport and honorably discharged from the US Army, Bob attended Fairfield University and studied audiology at Southern CT State University. He apprenticed under renowned audiologist Barry LaVoe in Boston.

In the early 1970's, Bob and a group of colleagues successfully lobbied the State of CT to have Hearing Instrument Specialists professionally licensed - he holds one of the earliest  licenses  assigned by the state – CT license #044. Bob is also a long standing member of the International Hearing Society, and CHADO (CT Hearing Aid Dealers Organization). Bob is also the founder of Hearing Loop Systems of CT, a company which which sells and installs Hearing Loop Systems in churches, synogoues, communities centers, auditoriums, convention centers and other public and private facilities.
